{"id":8870,"date":"2026-02-02T12:42:01","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T12:42:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lbnm.gov.lr\/?post_type=event_listing&#038;p=8870"},"modified":"2026-02-28T00:00:33","modified_gmt":"2026-02-28T00:00:33","slug":"human-resource-manager","status":"expired","type":"event_listing","link":"https:\/\/lbnm.gov.lr\/?event_listing=human-resource-manager","title":{"rendered":"Human Resource Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Duty Station: Monrovia with travels in and out of Monrovia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports to: Administrator, LBNM<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery (LBNM) is the ultimate authority in regulating the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>nursing and midwifery professions in the Republic of Liberia and progressively leads nursing and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>midwifery development to their highest level of excellence for the health and safety of the public.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mission of LBNM is to protect the public&#8217;s health and safety by providing reasonable assurance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>that the people who practice Nursing and Midwifery are competent and ethical practitioners with the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>necessary knowledge and skills required by their titles and roles under the laws of Liberia.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LBNM is an Autonomous Regulatory Body that works with other partners and stakeholders in the<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Republic of Liberia.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LBNM seeks to recruit a qualified Liberian professional to serve as <strong>Human Resource Manager<\/strong>. The<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HR Manager will support the Board\u2019s strategic and operational objectives by coordinating human<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>resource management functions. The position is responsible for ensuring that LBNM attracts,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>develops, motivates, and retains a competent workforce capable of effectively delivering on its<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>statutory mandate to regulate nursing and midwifery education and practice in Liberia.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EDUCATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Public Administration, Human ResourceManagement,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized\/accredited<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc A Master\u2019s degree in human resource management, Public Administration, Management, or a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>related discipline is an added advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in human resource<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Experience working within the public sector, regulatory bodies, health institutions, or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>development organizations is highly desirable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Proven experience in HR policy development, performance management, and staff capacity<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>building.<strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowledge<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Strong knowledge of the Labor Law of Liberia and HR best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Understanding of public-sector HR systems and institutional governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Knowledge of performance management systems and HR digitalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Excellent leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Effective written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under minimal supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Ability to build strong working relationships with Management, staff, and external<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00fc Ability to operate in a professional regulatory environment.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LBNM is an equal opportunity employer.
