{"id":8781,"date":"2024-09-04T05:25:19","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T05:25:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lbnm.gov.lr\/?post_type=event_listing&#038;p=8781"},"modified":"2024-09-17T00:07:24","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T00:07:24","slug":"vacancy-announcement-3","status":"expired","type":"event_listing","link":"https:\/\/lbnm.gov.lr\/?event_listing=vacancy-announcement-3","title":{"rendered":"VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>Regulation &amp; Compliance Director<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Duty Station: Monrovia with travels in and out of Liberia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reports to: Registrar\/Executive Secretary, Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery (LBNM) is the ultimate authority in regulating the nursing and midwifery professions in the Republic of Liberia and progressively leads nursing and midwifery development to their highest level of excellence for the health and safety of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mission of the Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery is to protect the public&#8217;s health and safety by providing reasonable assurance that the people who practice Nursing and Midwifery are competent and ethical practitioners with the necessary knowledge and skills&nbsp;required by their titles and roles under the laws of Liberia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Liberian Board for Nursing and Midwifery (LBNM) is an Autonomous Regulatory Body that works with other partners and stakeholders in the Republic of Liberia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LBNM is in search of a professional Liberian whose training is in Nursing\/Midwifery and\/or other related areas in Health Regulation &amp; Compliance to serve as <strong>REGULATION<\/strong><strong> AND COMPLIANCE DIRECTOR.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EDUCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>BSc in Nursing or Midwifery, from an accredited Nursing and Midwifery professional institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in nursing education, Nursing Administration, or related field from any recognize Universities is preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants should be a license Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), Registered Nurse Midwife (RNM) with current license at the same time must be in good standing with the LBNM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Have a minimum of eight (8) years post registration Nursing\/Midwifery experience, incorporating no less than Five (5) years Senior Nursing\/Midwifery Management in the last eight (8) years\u2019 experience, including a minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience at Director level or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Working knowledge:<\/strong>&nbsp;Candidate must possess the requisite Clinical, Leadership, Managerial and Administrative knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>General knowledge:<\/strong>&nbsp;To support LBNM in Nursing and Midwifery Education and Practice Compliance by providing expert advice on professional Nursing and Midwifery Regulatory standards and policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To ensure that robust communication arrangements are created and maintained to enable nurses and midwives including Nursing\/Midwifery Institutions apply highest standards in the discharge of duties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Thorough knowledge:<\/strong>&nbsp;Demonstrate and exemplify positive leadership behaviors and attitudes that will support cooperative and partnership working to achieve progress in the redesign and provision of Nursing &amp; Midwifery, programs with demonstrated abilities in evaluation assessment techniques<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Comprehensive knowledge:<\/strong>&nbsp;Ensure collaborative relationships with senior colleagues in other agencies such as Education, Police as well as voluntary agencies at a strategic level.
